UPC: 00193019723968
✔️ Self-lubricating, inert graphite packing; 0.125 in CS, 3 ft
Expanded flexible graphite braided packing, Style 1100TCP, is a self-lubricating, chemically inert sealing material used in pumps and valves across chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, pulp & paper, power generation, mining, municipal wastewater, and steel industries. It tolerates wide temperatures and pressures, and includes an anti-corrosion additive for durability. This packing is suitable for static and dynamic sealing in stuffing boxes and gland seals, including boiler feed water, condensate, steam, and process lines. Cut length is 3 ft with 0.125 in cross-section (3 ft x 0.125 in).
✅ Braided from pure expanded graphite, self-lubricating and chemically inert
✅ Temperature range: -328 F to 850 F (atmosphere) and up to 1200 F in steam
✅ Pressure range: 600 psi to 4,000 psi (valves)
✅ Anti-corrosion additive improves longevity and reduces pitting
✅ pH compatible 0-14; media: air, water, steam, oils, solvents
💡 What is graphite braided packing used for in pumps and valves? Graphite packing is handy for tough service conditions because: - It handles high temperatures and aggressive chemicals with low friction - It self-lubricates to reduce shaft wear and minimize leakage - It transfers heat away from the shaft to prevent glazing and sealing failure
